Description: Rebuild 8 miles of roadway where the existing asphalt had started wearing away and developing potholes. Some parts of the project include excavating to the depth of the storm drain and recompacting the soil prior to rebuilding the street. More than 130 handicap ramps and driveways also had to be removed and replaced. The roadway rehabilitation calls for 60,000 tons of base rock and 30,000 tons of asphalt, which is being completed in just three months.
